Towards the end of our Revealing Voices Project we were contacted by Terry Woolliscroft who had recorded around 24 hours of audio at the time of the Last Bottle Oven Firing in 1978. Terry kindly shared digitised versions of the recordings with our team, who catalogued them and added them to our archives. These extracts were selected by Alan Ingham and were presented as part of the Potteries Bottle Oven Day programme at Gladstone in August 2019.
