Discover the city’s bottle ovens with a range of events organised by the Potteries Bottle Oven Owners Club in celebration of Potteries Bottle Oven Day, the annual commemoration of the last firing of a bottle oven in Stoke-on-Trent in 1978. 

10:00am - 4:00pm at Middleport Pottery, Port Street, Middleport

FREE entry to the Middleport Pottery Bottle Oven 

Canal Trip, Tour and Walk - includes history talk on the Dane narrowboat and guided tour of Etruria Industrial Museum - starts 10:30am - Tickets £30. Book your place:
