More Than Water: Canal Heritage Ride

Sun, 24/11/2019 - 10:00
Starting from Westport Lake

Biking in Middleport

Join us for this special bike ride exploring the city’s canal heritage. Potteries Heritage Society and experienced cyclists will guide you along the Trent & Mersey and Caldon Canals and other safe cycling routes, to find out about the The Potteries’ canals, lost waterways and historic buildings along the way. Our 10-mile route will include the Ports of the Vale, Stoke’s lost wharves, Hanley Park and the former Burslem Arm.

Meet at Westport Lake at 10am for up to 3 hours cycling with frequent stops. Participants must be competent cyclists and bring their own bicycles in good working order. All are welcome but children must be accompanied by adults.

Booking is essential as places are limited. Book your places via Eventbright here or copy the link below.
