Hartshill Midsummer Fair

Sat, 23/06/2018 - 10:00
North Staffordshire Medical Institute

Potteries Heritage Society will be setting up our display at this free event bringing together local residents, businesses, craftspeople, community groups and public services around the twin themes of the environment and the arts. The Lord Mayor and Ward Councillors will be visiting all the stalls, and entertainment will be provided throughout the day by local musicians, singers, dancers and sports performers. Children will have the chance to see and touch the Farm on Wheels small animals, and handle some of Christopher's Reptiles. There will be demonstrations of floristry using Fairtrade flowers, summer food-tasting, painting and papier méché, wool-spinning and rag rug-making, willow-weaving and woodcraft. Dogs welcome outside. Stalls and displays inside the building and outside in market stalls, with around 100 organisations represented. A full range of refreshments provided in Bentleys Restaurant on the top floor.

Open 10am 'til 3pm.
